What is shares?

  • When you start  business, first your need is CAPITAL.(Tamil:Muthalidu) 
  • CAPITAL is  the main source for business.
  • CORPORATE and PUBLIC SECTOR company with the hope of increase their capital . They split their company shares into different parts(in%).
FOR EG; Consider Mr.A has company in the name of XYZ ,It's value is 60 lakhs, He want to increase their income by introducing a new company in the name of ABC, It's value is 40 lacks, They want more amount of capital. So, They split their capital 4lackhs from 40lackhs. This 4lakhs  sell in rupees 10/share. This 10 rupees is called "FACE VALUE".

  • Share market  for "BUYING AND SELLING " their Shares.
  • In day-to-day life this Share Exchange happen via "INTERNET" 
  • This share exchange process run by two major companies
                   -BSE(Bombay Service Exchange)
                   -NSE(National Service Exchange)
  • Top 50 companies in BSE is called "SENSEX".
  • Top 50 companies in NSE is called "NIFTY".
  • Shares are REGISTERED in this company.
  • Trading and Investment under the guidance of "SEBI".

Running of Share Market:


  • We Buy or Sell Shares from "STOCK/FINANCIAL BROKER"
  • Brokers give detail of Share and helps to Buy and Sell your shares.

Basic Requirement for the Share Market Investment:


  • First you have to open the "SAVING ACCOUNT".
  • Then you link the Saving Bank Account to "DEMAT ACCOUNT".
  • Finally open  the "TRADING ACCOUNT"(It will help to Buy or Sell your shares) 
  • This three accounts are open with the help of the "STOCK  BROKER".
